Welcome
My name is Fiona and I’m a yoga therapist. For over 20 years I’ve been supporting clients in healing from a range of conditions including ME/CFS, burnout, anxiety and Long Covid. As well as teaching Restful Yoga for Fatigue, I’m also an author and a passionate Rest Activist.
I’ve recovered from severe fatigue myself after having ME/CFS for 15 years, and was helped enormously by yoga.
It’s my life’s mission to support others, and whether it’s in my yoga sessions, training for teachers, yoga books or on retreat, everything I do is focused on core principles. These include very gentle somatic movement, functional breathing to help release tension and encourage the flow of energy (prana), and deep relaxation using yoga nidra. As we slowly and safely soothe the nervous system into rest and calm, true healing can begin.

New book release
‘Breathe, Rest, Recover’ is a guide for those with Long Covid or profound fatigue such as ME/CFS, as well as for yoga therapists, teachers and health professionals.
The book, written with psychotherapist Nadyne McKie, is written from the heart and based on our lived experience, and is packed with simple information on how to heal from chronic illness. Written in an easy-to-follow format there are lots of soothing and restorative practices, and everything is trauma-informed.

There are a variety of classes on my YouTube channel, so you can try Restful Yoga for Fatigue in your own time, before joining live.
Each recording starts with gentle restorative breathing followed by somatic awareness and super gentle optional movement, all designed to help heal ME/CFS and Long Covid. About half way through the session there is a 20-30 minute yoga nidra deep rest.
